Elf Beauty Elf Studio Concealer

I've bought this 3 times in the last 9 months or so...and I love it. I had a little problem with it at first, but that could be just because I'm still learning makeup and didn't know it works better if you do foundation then concealer. Oops lol Seriously though...this hides my under eye bags and any acne and such that pops up. It is amazing.

I bought this concealer in Ivory and it doesn't match the "Ivory" shade on the outside of the box at all. It is a dark orange-y color so it's not great as a concealer. Normally I love ELF cosmetics but this one just falls flat. It doesn't match the color labeled on the box and it's a strange shade to boot.

Although the shade matched my skin perfectly, I found that this was too thick and not blendable at all. I used it for about two weeks until I just got so fed up with it. I would put some on my face and would not be able to blend it out at all so I would literally have a bunch of thick lines on my face that were virtually impossible to spread out. It did, however; have very good coverage.

I am pretty Fair skin toned. Beige actually works perfect for me considering i use it for under my eyes. Now, i don't use it directly on my under eye circles because this product has a tendency to settle into lines and wrinkles. Leaving a smeary kind of look under the eye. Not creamy enough. But what i use this for is to make a line from my mid-nose to the outer end of my eyelashes, under my eye circles. It really gives a good coverage for that spot were nobody really puts their concealer. This also isnt bad coverage for blemishes. I use it everyday.

I bought this in beige. I am pretty light skinned but my gut told me to get the 2nd lighest shade. I'm really glad I did. It covers ok-ish but better than anything else I've tried. I find that it's a bit rough so I don't like applying it directly on to my skin and instead, I rub it onto my finger and then blend it in to the under eye area or over whatever small spot I want to cover
