I purchased this cleaner because other cleaners are ridiculously priced for small amounts and are not versatile. You either have a liquidy brush cleaner, a thick blender cleaner, or a soap bar/circle. I have a small cleaner and use this in it after diluting. I use it straight to clean my blender. I use it straight to clean my brushes individually. PROS: -Thick. -Conditioning. -Effective. Effective. Effective. -Pleasant/light fragrance. -No residue. -Non greasy. -Great price. -Thorough clean. CONS: -Small bottle

I bought this thinking "really, a shampoo for my makeup brushes". Then I thought about the last time I washed them and it's been a long time. So I got everything together, I even have the big black brush cleaner that you wash them with, tried it and let my brushed dry overnight. I have to say e.l.f. you know what your doing! Not only did my brushes look brand new, they smelled great and they seamed softer! Love this product and will buy more when I need it,

I really needed something easy to use for cleaning my brushes. Unfortunately this didn't have any use at all to me. I usually always have great things to say about e.l.f. products but this was a complete miss for me! When I used this, no makeup came out of my brushes nor were they soft after using the shampoo. I had to wash my brushes again after trying this out. Didn't work out out for me

My brushes have never been cleaner, this is a MUST HAVE if you want clean brushes or even if you don't wash your brushes often. After not washing my brushes for at least a month(disgusting I know) this shampoo cleaned out EVERYTHING and made my brushes new. I am so happy to have purchased this and I think that everybody needs this in their life because it's better than the high end cleaners I have used.

I recently purchased 4 bottles of the brush shampoo to keep me going for a while. Prior to this I had been using regular shampoo/conditioner which does a great job, however thought I'd try this as it generally had good reviews. I'm not impressed. I find you really need to squeeze the bottle quite hard to get a sufficient amount of product out...you need a lot for this product to work as it barely foams up and need to do at least two shampoos per brush to get them anywhere near clean. Still doesn't get them anywhere near as clean than with what I was previously using. Foundation brushes especially are difficult to get clean (I only use synthetic brushes). Will be using up my supply and then going back to my trusty shampoo/conditioner combo. Would not recommend, sorry!
