I bought this awhile back in a pearly white shade that is no longer available and it immediately became a fav for use in eye highlighting since it was beautifully pigmented and went on smoothly. I used it for inner corners, brow bone, and touches of brightness all over. I'm really bummed out to see that it's no longer available in that shade! :( This could be amazing if more colour options were brought in, golden tones or fun colours like lavender, pink, or blue would be amaaaazing, and bring back the white!
I received this product about a week ago, and there are a few things I have to say. Number one, I LOVE the pigmentation of the shadow stick and the eyeliner. I got this in brown/basic, and the shadow stick is a golden-brown color and looks beautiful, goes on smooth and is easy to blend, but does not crease, smudge or move. However, when I got this, the shadow stick (I mean, the WHOLE shadow stick) part broke when I opened the item, and almost screamed when I didn't find the product, but then saw it in the cap. I was able to pop it back into the applicator part of the product. Secondly, the eyeliner... it is exactly what I wanted this to be. Smooth, pigmented and subtle. I would have given this 5 stars if the shadow hadn't fallen into the cap.
I have a black & smoke duo and I loveee the eyeliner. The color is super super black and is super smooth, fades nicely for to create a beautiful smokey eyes. I don't dislike the silver cream shadow but I prefer to use it only in the lacrimal area, this shimmer give a pretty light on my eyes. I dont know about the other colors but this is duo pencil is high pigmented.
This product is absolutely amazing. It applies super easily and is really easy to blend as well. I use it when I'm wearing a bold outfit since I have the grey eyeshadow and black eyeliner one, otherwise it's not for me since I'm more of a neutral girl, but the eyeliner ALWAYS comes in use, but smudges at the outside corners of my eyes, but of course that's always fixable and won't mess up the eyeliner since it stays on even if its smudged. The shadow is really easy to use, and not a lot of it is needed for me since it's darker than I thought it was going to be, but love it nonetheless. Absolutely fabulous and to die for. The eyeshadow stick is a little thick, so if you're wanting to put eyeshadow under your eyeliner, then I would recommend to do it with your finger or q-tip or skinnier object. But other than that, like I said, it's wonderful and I absolutely love it and will continue to buy these products. E.L.F. is THE best brand out there
As of yet the only pencils I have actually used and I have purchased them all or the pearl/glow, brown/basic and the black/smoke. Pearl's shadow stick side is great for doing the inner and outer corner of the eye to open it up more when I do a dramatic shadow look. I have had the same stick forever. I have yet to use the liner side. I don't do my waterline because that just scares me hahaha. The shadow part on brown/basic is not really so much a brown as a coppery gold, but I love it on days when I don't wanna' line the top and I just shadow and use the liner side (a nice medium brown) on the bottom. It's nice for when I want something natural that still pops. It's shimmery enough that it's noticeable and can be worn with a subtle gloss or a bright red lip as it appears more gold then. The black/smoke was my first real introduction to dark shadows. I was scared of them before. The general idea of these pencils is an easy all in one look. The liner is pretty creamy and the tip is thick so apply slowly. It may not stay as long as you would like. If you set with powder it should stay fine. I'm lazy though hahaha I haven't tried the 3 others I purchased yet. As you will see in a video where I swatched them...the midnight blue has already disappointed me because it's not even blue. Maybe I just got a bad stick. It's totally not true to the color on the site. It may end up being beautiful when worn over the mineral primer, but this is an incomplete review as I don't know yet hahaha
