e.l.f. Cosmetics Shimmer Lip Gloss, Inspire, 0.088 oz

I LOVE this gloss, however, every time I purchase it.........there is ALWAYS AN ISSUE with the container falling apart. I will try to order online. Everyone I knows loves it.......they will not buy because of the tube always missing something or broke

Since I reviewed this gloss before, I've completely changed my mind. After trying multiple different products, I actually kept coming back to this, and with others to compare it to, I've realized that I actually kind of love this stuff! The fact that it isn't overly pigmented is actually helpful. It allows you to go subtle or build color. When used as a base, it makes an excellent foundation for other products. I love layering this with the Super Glossy Lip Shine (for SPF and extra shine) and the Pout Perfecter for extra sparkle and dimension. It's also really easy to touch up and reapply on the go, and it lasts longer than most other glosses I've tried. I judged this way too quickly, and I'm glad I didn't just throw it out because now, I'm stocking up and using this all the time!

I have yet to use this lovely looking stuff, as when I pulled the applicator out.. all there was, was a stick.. the pad came off .. inside the bottle ( ELF as ever, is already sending its replacement, so hoping I can comment on the item itself soon) there is never a problem, with that... but.... This is not the first time the container has been the failure ... some revamps on that score, are in order.

I liked this gloss, but I didn't love it. It was somewhat thick and sticky, which is expected of a gloss, and a little bit drying, which is also expected. I loved the shimmer, shine, and sparkle of it, but the colors just didn't work for me. They were a little too yellow/orange to work with my skin tone, whereas I look better in straight pinks. They weren't terrible, but they weren't great. If the colors were more flattering on me, I'd probably give it four stars.

I am extremely disappointed in these lip glosses I had purchased all of them except love because it was sold out. when I tried it on the I couldn't get over how hard the brushes were on each one. there was absolutely no pigmentation in any of them even after I applied more than enough coats! I will not be repurchasing these at all.
