e.l.f. Eyeliner & Shadow Stick, Black/Smoke

This eyeliner is the greatest! The texture is perfect. It glides on smoothly. It rolls up and down out of a plastic container so you don't have to use a pencil and get little pieces of wood in your eyes. It's vegan and cruelty-free. In the last year cosmetic companies have changed the formula of their roll-up pencils so that the texture is sticky and smeary and awful. THIS is the only good one I can find now. The eyeshadow is very nicely textured too but I don't use it because it has sparkles in it. I'm over 30 and the sparkles emphasize crepy skin. But I LOVE the eyeliner and at such a great price. PLEASE ELF -never change this eyeliner!

I bought two of these a few months ago and I have the black/smoke and brown/basic. Both of the shadow sticks are great, don't crease and are blendable. They last a while too. They are a quick way to put on color without brushes. However whenever I used the liners, I got a huge mess under my eyes! I'd buy it again just for the shadow side but the liner is a waste of effort

I bought several of the eyeliner eye shadow stick combos all of which had good color, however the eyeliner side on all of them was horrible. The eyeliner will not show on your eye because of how oily the shadow is, and it is very hard so it will hurt your eye. The shadow side was intended to be a cream shadow but is instead is very oily and very messy because of this you will not want to use a primer with it or it will slip right off and become a very weak color. I would not purchase again for myself because I don't mind putting in a little more work with powder eye shadows to get a good look but I would still recommend for those who are starting in makeup or are not very good yet, that being said at this point the only thing I use it for is a lazy smokey eye which looks great but uses less products you would still need a few colors however :) I almost forgot the shadow is in stick form and for this reason like all of elf's stick products breaks easily so if you do purchase treat it gently. 

i use the shadow stick side as a eye shadow BASE.not a eyeshadow by its self. it creases to much to wear it alone. the liner works great on my lash line, but it does NOT work on my waterline. it just dosn't stick! i really, really, really love the colors. i have this product in brown/basic and pear/glow. i lve both of them.
