Google - Nest Cam Indoor Security Cameras (3-Pack) - Black

Having purchased a cheap camera and found it to be very difficult to set up and operate, with poor results. i decided to purchase a well known make having researched home security cameras i finally decided on Nest. I have absolutely no regrets or misgivings about the camera it was easy to set up and even easier to monitor and used. Money very well spent, I also purchased an outdoor camera.

Whats not to love about this camera? It looks good but most of all the job you buy it to do, it does perfectly . Great picture, the app is cool, easy to use and log in from anywhere in the world. Yes there are cheaper cameras on the market, but you get what you pay for.

Brilliant. Looks great, the quality of the picture is brilliant and is very discreet. We use it to just to keep check of what's going on at home and it does all that and more with notifications if it sees a person, motion (not a person), hears a noise or hears a person speaking. You can see it live or see it on a timeline. You can store the recordings on your phone as well. A great product.

Overall the product is pretty poor given the price point and the fact Nest(/Google) are the company behind the product. Image quality is not great, does not have any standout features (without subscription), audio pickup is poor, poor, poor!!! Live view access could be quicker. Industrial design is great (would love a white option though).

Following a motion alert, the camera will push no further notifications for a 30min period. Ie I walk out my front door and trigger an alert, a burglar breaks in within 30mins and I get no notification. Nest support kindly suggested check the app footage frequently as a work around - ridiculous. Good approach to minimise their cloud storage costs
