Google Nest Cam Outdoor Security Camera

We love the Nest outdoor camera. It does exactly what it is intended for. The 2-way communication feature is really nice too. And we also love the different notification features. It will notify if there is a person, person talking, dog barking, and other motion.

I got this as my ex husband was letting himself in while I was out. It stressed me out knowing this. Having this camera means I know when even the postie has been. I can talk thru it to delivery drivers. That freaks them out. The quality is amazing. Night time I can't see cars too clearly but the sound is great. It even picks up what my neighbours are such side are saying.

Brilliant product, easy to setup, aesthetics are lovely, picture quality is very good, integration with the Nest ecosystem is good, cloud services work well, but.... Overall prices are high, it's an expensive camera made more expensive by the monthly fee. I wouldn't object so much if the initial price was lower or if the fee was cheaper but both are relatively high.

The picture and sound quality are amazing. The mounting of the cameras was easy, but when installing I thought that the cable length was insufficient. The initial connection to WiFi happened really quickly but over the next few days the dropped connections a lot, I ended up with a mesh network that now works but took some fiddling. The aware subscription for multiple Cameras is too expensive.

Great camera, good quality and pared with Nest Aware service offers a great bit of functionality. Picture quality is excellent. Only negative, which isn't directly Nest issue is that it can take 4 or 5 seconds to connect to the video streaming when the door goes and it would be nice if this were quicker when we were in the house (fair enough when we aren't...)
