KitchenAid - 1.9 Cu. Ft. Convection Over-the-Range Microwave - Black Stainless Steel

This microwave runs much quieter than my previous unit. It's defrost function can defrost hamburger without cooking the outer edges. The exhaust fan is a little noisy but tolerable. The convection cooks well but seems a little slow getting to temperature. All in all it's a very nice unit.

We purchased this because our current microwave was 25 years old. We had a seperate convection oven on our counter that was used a lot. Wanted to incorporate into one to free up our countertop. Works great. Used convection yesterday and the food turned out good. Only thing I wish is that there was a more detailed user guide in using the convection part of the microwave. Also it is bigger then our previous microwave but it still is ok.

Great microwave, this thing is super quite, don't even know that it's running! Was worried about having a microwave so close to the family room, with an open floor plan. Old unit required the TV volume to be increased 5+ when using, NOT with this one. Lots of room on the inside for all types of dishes. Love all the additional bowls they include. Would buy again and recommended the product to the neighbors who are looking to upgrade their kitchen.

This over the range microwave/convection oven is extrordanary because we felt that the space saving design of the microwave and the covenience of having a second oven would be benificial when preparing large meals and after a month we can honestly say that this brings conveniance to our kitchen. We are mindful that when convection cooking, the set temperature may need to be set a few degrees lower than the recipe calls for due to the "convection" or fan assisted cooking. I love the look and function of this microwave. Have had an issue with getting the night light timer to work properly ... turns on in the AM but does not turn off. I know how to program these things, so don't know what the issue is. The screen has a nice un-intrusive appearance. However, would be nice if the functions would like up when you touch the screen (especially at night). Overall, really like my new microwave! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
