Sunpentown SF-613 - Air cooler/humidifier/purifier - mobile

The item works best when used with ice in a small room, and will cool a room considerably when water is very cold. Only downfall is if the room faces West and there is a window that makes the room too hot, the unit has a hard time cooling it off as expected. However, I do realize that it is not an air conditioner, so my expectations were met regarding it not blowing ice cold air. I use it every day right now, and can honestly say, I sleep more comfortably now than I did before I had the unit.

This air conditioner doesn't work at all! It is made of cheap plastic, and is very junky. The "cool" setting feels just like the fan option. It doesn't make my room any cooler, but it does put out a bad plastic smell. Don't waste your $100 on this peice of junk!!

This unit allows me to stay cool in my bedroom without running the A/C for the whole house when I am in my bedroom with my TV and Laptop 90% of the day. I do not have to shut windows or doors. The fan is very cooling even if I don't put ice in the cooling chamber. Plus the apartment complex does not allow individual A/C units hanging out the windows. Hope this helps some of you in the same situations.

you can buy a regular fan to operated the same as time product , it only blow cool air if the room already cool. if the room is hot it blow hot air. this defeed the purpose. you guys need to go back to the drawing board on this product.

It may look good, but this unit does not cool at all. The fan is underpowered and you cannot feel it if you are more than a few feet away. My unit is going back this week!
