A wonderfully aromatic coffee. I love the taste and smell. It's incredibly fresh tasting, and arrived very quickly. I enjoyed it very much as did my husband. I like deep roasts which can sometimes taste Over-roasted. This coffee is rich and bold but not bitter or over roasted. Perfect!!
I put the Boca Java ground coffee into my coffee maker. Like around 3/4 of a cup just the perfect amount. Also you can control how strong or smooth you wanted. I like how the delightful the roasted aroma makes the kitchen more comfortable. I have a great breakfast with Boca Java Coffee.
I love the freshness of Boca Java coffee ... JUST roasted and the oils still glistening on the beans! Boca Villa is, indeed, dark as it touts. Even so, it is defined by a rich, full-bodied flavor, rather than by bitterness. In addition to a full-bodied flavor, it also has a full-bodied feel. Even the delicious aroma lets you know that an exceptional cup of coffee is on the way!
I bought this product sort of apprehensively. But the price that I paid was low. So I thought WHY Not? I buy on average [$]a month in coffee. From Peet's, Dean & Deluca, Martinez~Jamaican Mt Blue, Illy. To brew at home. Because I LOVE coffee! This product is better than Most! And Definately Better than Dean & Deluca! If you know Who they are. Thats saying a Whole LOT!
I am not your average coffee connoisseur in that I tend to brew my coffee weak. That said, I DO NOT like weak flavoured coffees so I gravitate towards dark, rich, french roasts. Boca Villa is hands down the best coffee for my brewing trends that I have tasted in a long time. It's bold smooth flavour is well retained in watery conditions and allows me to avoid the acid stomach and general caffeine jitters I get from other, strongly brewed coffees. All this without having to go decaf!
I have been drinking Boca Villa for about 10 years. I love \u2764\ufe0f dark roast coffee \u2615\ufe0f. I have tried a few other blends from Boca Java and I have enjoyed them all. I just prefer the dark roasts for myself. Boca Java blends stand up against any Starbucks blends, and I frequently go to Starbucks.
It took me a little while to realize that I liked this coffee better when I used 5 scoop per 8 cups. (scoop = 2 tbsp, and cup =5 oz) I bought my coffee ground. The results were the same when I used either auto drip, or french press. I ended up with better flavor and body, and got rid of the watery after taste.
I just canceled my membership. When I did, you asked for a reason so I gave you one. Someone, obviously not reading what I wrote, responded with "you just canceled so there's nothing I can do for you" . . . ????? Not sure why you asked in the first place. One reason I canceled was because you don't listen to your customers, or at least to me. Hmmmm.
Somewhat disappointed, I was looking forward to a richer flavor as far as the spiciness goes -- and it just wasn't there for me. I tried making it stronger to enhance the flavor, but that just made the coffee have an aftertaste that was unpleasant and slightly bitter.
Having been in the US Navy and live for coffee. I was anticipating a flavorful, aromatic, satisfying cup of special coffee. After several mornings preparing and drinking this coffee. I was VERY disappointed in the aroma and flavor. Compared to my current over the counter ground coffee. Has no comparison. Matter fact, will mix with my earlier grounds. Just to use up the remaining beans.
