The northeastern region of Peru produces some of the best tasting coffees in the world. Known for the subtle fruit and chocolate notes and the floral aromas, this Fair Trade & Organic, Boulder Organic Peruvian whole bean coffee possesses it all. This coffee contains both fully-washed and sun-dried beans grown at 1250m - 1800m in altitude that's harvested May through September. Not only does this coffee taste amazing, but it does amazing things, with a portion of every purchase going towards building a school in Peru to better our farming communities. This coffee is medium roast and naturally caffeinated.

What drew me into this coffee was the taste notes it has. I really enjoyed the flavor of this coffee and it was easy to grind. It had a bold taste without being overpowering and I could taste the nutty notes it had. I also really liked that it was organic and ethically sourced. Very pleased with the coffee. I had my coffee delivered this week. It's an organic fair trade blend from Peru and made by Boulder Organic Coffee. When I opened the bag the aroma was amazing and the coffee notes immediately hit my nose. It's rich and nutty and once brewed it's a full flavored delicious coffee. I am reviewing the Fair Trade Organic PERU Bolder Organic Coffee Beans. As soon as you open the bag the smell of fresh coffee hits your sensors. From grinding to brewing that great scent is ever present. I found the coffee to be nutty and great rating. Not too acidic. Definitely would purchase again. I really wanted to love this coffee! I love that its organic, fair trade, and roasted to order. However, nothing about this seemed fresh roasted to me. The coffee was just okay. When I opened the bag there was not a strong scent. The taste was not as bold and fresh and fragrant as I was expecting.
