This coffee has the most mellow, delicious taste! No bitterness. The aroma is enough to make a coffee drinker out of anyone. I have it in the morning to start the day and after dinner in the evening. I have made a concentrated brew to make a syrup to use in a dessert. The only thing that is disappointing is the size of the bags. I would like to see a larger bag available.
When I send a gift of coffee from Boca I always include a bag of Boca Sunrise. It is a good coffee to serve to guests when you don't know how strong they like their coffee because this is a slightly sweet, smooth coffee that isn't too dark and has no bitterness to its flavor. A good coffee to drink anytime and it goes well with any food. I always seem to run out way too soon!
We always serve this one after our meals with guests. It always exceeds expectations. It is not too dark or too light, nor is it too strong or too light. It is a good fit for every coffee drinkers taste, which is why we serve it when there is a group.
The great things about rolling out of bed too early is to start the coffee pot. My coffee first grinds the beans and then makes it. The smell is awesome. The bad thing about it is I ran out of it you sent it, but for some reason the carrier sent it back and I was out for more than a month. :o(
I make this coffee in my French Press. I like to use 1 heaping tablespoon of Boca Sunrise to one 8 oz. cup. This is a good cup of coffee for first things first, in the morning. The aroma is appealing without being overly dramatic. The flavor is robust, without being a bully. This is the kind of coffee you can drink most of the day, and not tire of its unique flavor. Rise up, with Boca Sunrise.
I use this with a French Press mainly, and it is a nice medium body coffee at any time of the day. Does reasonably well with a drip but as always, make sure you have enough temperature out of your coffee maker. The flavor isn't overwhelming (it isn't intended to be) but has a nice balance.
This is a really good coffee, but the price is alittle high so I buy a few at a time, so I can still enjoy the coffee when it comes. It is a very smooth coffee and you want to keep buying it, because you're spoiled now. You want only the best and you have to wait for it to come to you in the mail. Now that's strong stuff.! :)
This has become our standard "First Cup of Coffee" brand. Nothing else gives us this balance of not too week nor strong enough to corrode the cup. The only thing that keeps it from being excellent is just not quite enough flavor. The flavor is good but could be a bit stronger tasting.
This coffee is fine, but I was disappointed because I didn't feel it matched its description at all. I would not have said it was "extremely bright", for example, nor that it had "hints of sweet citrus". It was a little better than the national brands available at the grocery store, but lacked the complexity I was expecting. A decent cuppa joe, though.
I drink regular coffee in the morning when I first get up. This smelled good, but even though I used the same water-to-coffee ratio as always, somehow it lacked the flavor and body I was expecting. I tried a stronger brew and that did improve it, but I still felt there was more "bite" than flavor.
