I don't drink much coffee but I now have a large cup about 4-5 times a week sometimes in the morning and usually with some kind of sweet bread and occasionally at least 2 times a week in the evening
Having become an expresso lover in recent months, I found this particular roast to be so much better than the ones found in the grocery store or even specialty stores. It is especially nice for an evening espresso, when the bolder one may be too eye-opening. I can't wait for my order to arrive!
Not a particular fan of Expresso solo, but Espresso Contento beans blended with Organic Ethiopian beans from Sprouts is the best coffee blend that my wife and I have found (and we have tried more than I would like to remember). Just drop them 3-2 or 2-2 ratio in a Cuisinart and you have terrific results.
A great coffee does not back off when you use it for lattes. Other coffees can lose their punch, reveal a bitterness or overly toffee flavor, but Contento is great. Espresso flavor reamins consistent, no matter how much milk you add. And of course, much better than St******s!
Bought just to try it and it has become one of my favorites - I added it to my service. Use it in my regular coffee maker, not an espresso machine. Very, very smooth taste, not bitter at all, no aftertaste. Would be a great after-dinner coffee if I could have caffeine that late!
Espresso Contento is our favorite coffee from Boca Java. We prefer a light roast that is not bitter and is smooth and flavorful. Not just some morning jolt. This blend is similar to Starbucks Willow but we like it better and buy a lot of it and have for years.
I use this style in my moka pot. I like the light roast since my moka pot makes a stronger cup of coffee. By itself, it has more of a tang and acidic flavor. I usually drink my coffee as a latte with frothed almond milk and sugar free syrup. I love the taste. It doesn't overpower the milk. I love the resealable bag. Overall, no complaints. I would love try this in comparison with the medium roast. This review was collected as part of a promotion, and the opinions are my own.
I was looking for a European style espresso roast for my automatic espresso machine. The beans must not be oily, and these are not. The cappuccino tastes just like one I remember drinking in Italy. I use four bags a month and drink four or five espresso shots a day.
I prefer espresso in a medium roast, rather than dark, so I usually use medium roast beans, not the traditionally dark-roasted beans used in most espressos. Espresso Contento fit the bill for those that like their espresso without the "bite" or bitterness of most espresso roasts, though I will probably stick to more interesting medium roasts than this one for my espresso.
I usually like dark roasts but sometimes medium. So I thought a light expresso would be like a med roast? Well its neither here nor there. Has a strange aftertaste for me.
