This product was great and flavorful. I love to use this product in soups, casseroles, and crock pot recipes. It saves a lot of money, saves time,taste delicious, and is very goid quality. I do not like dark meat very well, but my house is divided on that topic. I buy this for those who like dark meat too.
This turned out to be delicious. I wasn't sure of the quality with dark meat in it but the flavor that dark meat lends to a dish was definitely there. I used this to make my kids and I a small pot of chicken noodle soup just by adding this to a few ingredients I had on hand. It was a lovely lunch on one of the first cold days. It was so nice to be able to make a nice, homey meal in just about a half hour. The meat held up well in the soup and everything was delicious. I highly recommend this! Homemade taste with some sneaky convenience!!! :)
Meat is fully cooked, flavorful and moist. Looks and tastes like breast meat. No visible fat or grissel. Makes a nice sandwich, salad and is good in recipies.
I had been craving dressing with chicken in it and wanted it fast so I used Hormel White and Dark Chicken 5oz to help make a pan. I liked the balance of both white and dark meat which gave this meal a great flavor. The meat had a great look to it while they were also in uniform peices. The can could have had more meat and less liquid but other than that it had a great taste and flavor. I would definitely recommend this product.
I wanted to make a grown up dinner, but had fussy kids to consider. So, I popped open a can of hormel white and dark chicken, and served it to the kids with sides of baby carrots and sliced apples. It was a hit! It definitely beats giving them chicken nuggets for yet another meal.
This is more costly obviously than baking a whole chicken, but very convenient for lunches and adding to salads. The taste is very good. I plan on buying more. Nice alternative to tuna.
I am allergic to fish so I like to take the hormel caned premium chicken Breast and fix it like tuna fish and make sandwiches. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Canned chicken that contains both light and dark meat is very hard to find so I always buy Hormel. The dark meat gives it a better flavor and cuts the dryness of white meat. I've been using this for a long time and love it.
Convenient to use in many dishes.
I ordered 9 cans shipped to my home. They arrived well packed and could not move around in the box. Four, yes 4, of the 9 cans were HEAVILY DENTED! They were dented before being packed. No excuse for this. You intentionally sent me damaged goods! The damage is lots worse than it looks in the pictures.
