This is really great sauerkraut if you like a flavorful sauerkraut! So many of the krauts I have bought have so little flavor that they add little to my cooking. I use these as a flavor additive to pork roasts and country-style spare ribs. This product does not lose its "bite" or flavor in cooking. Highly recommended. Nobody in my house likes sauerkraut on their hot dogs except me, so this size jar is perfect for my family.
It was very difficult to open, my 80+ year old parents could not get the lid off. Good flavor.
