I was excited to find Boulder Organic Coffee available online in an espresso roast. I try to seek out organic, fair trade coffee beans when possible and liked that this was both. I thoroughly enjoyed these beans! They tasted like quality, familiar of a local roast that I could safely order during this time of quarantine. I actually tried these two ways - in my espresso machine and grinder then brewed in my standard coffee maker. Both were great! These had a bold rich taste which I LOVE! My husband thoroughly enjoyed too to help keep him going during this period of working from home. I highly recommend these beans, and I absolutely will be repurchasing. They were a great purchase that helped my standard at home brew taste gourmet! I love coffee, and these helped step up my at home coffee game! I loved this coffee! It tasted more gourmet for my day to day cup of coffee, and during this time of quarantine, I thoroughly appreciated that. My husband also enjoyed this as a pick me up during the afternoon as he is working from home. I actually used the beans two ways. I tried them in my espresso machine and YUM was it good! The Espresso Dark Roast beans were so fresh and smelled amazing when I opened the bag! The beans are very dark and oily and make a dark, strong, delicious cup of coffee. I like that Boulder is fair trade organic and roasts the beans at time of order so you know you are getting the freshest beans possible. The flavor is dark and sweet with cocoa undertones.
