Reds are much redder than older PowerShot, Better focusing.
This item I had it for 2years I recommend it for you.
I love this little camera. I bought it for my 10 year old granddaughter and it is simple to use and takes great pictures and videos. She loves that she can set it up on the tripod set the timer and get in picture! I'm actually thinking of purchasing one for myself.
I had an older version of this camera so just to make life simple I bought this one. It is easy to operate, takes good pictures and was familiar. I am happy with the value and the little tri pod that came as an extra. Came before the scheduled date too !
the camera is good but the kit that comes with it was opened. The lens cleaning bottle was empty, it had a crack and it was dirty.
Memory card provided did NOT have a tab(switch) to "unlock" it. Had to go out and buy one. Would prefer to have power cord and jack to recharge battery instead of having to remove it from the camera and send it to the charger.
I thought I was ordering the regular PowerShot! That's what I had searched for and bought this one not realizing it was an IXUS which is a sorry excuse for a PowerShot. I've had the Canon PowerShot A410 for years and still love it. It's viewfinder has gone out but I'll continue to use it instead of the IXUS. The IXUS takes "weak" looking photos unlike the A410 which takes rich looking photos.
Screen to small. No picture editing functions
Very low video quality, not advanced in any way. Maybe ideal for beginner camera or kids.
