I like this coffee except price when up to $2.50 since I start buying it I Understand $ 1 but 2.50 that's a lot so looking for better price that similar what I am getting.
I am somewhat of a coffee snob and this is by far the best coffee I have ever had. I own 8 different coffee makers (French presses, pour overs, grind and brews and a propane powered one for camping) and a grinder to get these amazing coffee beans ground for the proper brew. My fiancée and I were in Walmart a few weeks ago and saw the clearance shelf label with 2 cans left. We are both disappointed that the whole bean version has been discontinued. Now we are just sharing a large cup to make our final 2 cans last longer. Please bring it back.
I buy this coffee because I have found nothing that I like better (not even super expensive stuff). It just has such a good, strong, smooth flavor. I never leave reviews, but this is THE BEST coffee.
If you love Starbucks Dark Roast and haven't been able to find a suitable replacement.......THIS IS IT!!!!! I have searched the country over from restaurant, to caffe, to elite grocers. Can't believe I found it at Walmart. That deep dark aroma that only those of us who are coffee connoisseurs appreciate.
This is my favorite coffee. Makes a perfect cup every time. Disappointed you no longer carry it. I'm on my last 12 ounce container.
Pllease bring this coffee from Sumatra back! Having to buy my beans elsewhere at high prices. Walmart! You can do better.
This is the best retail coffee I can find that's reasonably priced. I frankly almost can't believe how inexpensive such a premium quality coffee is. I've drank coffee in Hawaii for years which is WAY more expensive and very good and this compares to some very fine Hawaiian coffees. It's rich with low acidity, some chocolate and caramel notes. I found I need to make it fairly strong but not at all ridiculously so to get the right flavor, about 1 Tbsp to around 6-8oz water depending on the coffee maker. I really get upset when Walmart runs out.
I'm a certified coffee snob of the worse kind. i used to only buy coffee from Whole Foods but after finding these three years ago, i haven't been back to WF for coffee beans; specifically the notes of chocolate and caramel shine when you get the coffee to water ratio correctly. I'm very sad to report coffee has been hard to find as of late, next time i will purchase all they have on the shelves and if you love this coffee, I'd suggest you do the same.
The Heading said medium roast but it was actually dark roast can I have a hard time drinking with my stomach beautiful beans but I wish they were medium afterward I looked at the picture and the picture said dark the Sumatran was also advertised as light roast but the picture showed dark
The 4 White Beans made me think this was "LIGHT" I didn't realize they were actually MAXIMUM darkness. I absolutely dislike dark coffee this was 100% my mistake for not knowing any better. I will never buy 4 beans again, not even 3. I'm going to search for 2 beans. I see they have a "Blonde" but can't find it available in ground and it looks like so far it is only available in the pods. If you like Dark French Roast you probably like this. For your reference coffees that I like are the Breakfast light ones. Trader Joes Light Roast, Lavazza crema y aroma occasionally I can tolerate Starbucks Verona.
