I assembled this by myself in about 14 hours over 2 days. This is my first ever shed so I'm not really sure what's useful to point out. ***Skip ahead in the assembly instructions to make sure your upper door track pre-drilled holes line up with the gables. The assembly step for the door track doesn't fully show or explain which way to assemble the pieces so you have a 50% chance of assembling it upside down.*** Pros: Good price for the size and weather protection. It fastens and screws in a smart way and in many, many places (about 200+ screws and bolts) so it's really sturdy for a 100lbs+/- building. Cons: 1) Padlock goes on a plastic door handle - this will keep out honest thieves. 2) It's about 5 feet tall. Watch your head. Could it really not be designed taller? 3) This metal can not be in direct contact with pressure treated wood at the same time, everything the metal touches on the outside will also be directly effected by the elements. I painted my pressure treated wood with an oil-based sealant and then covered it with roofing felt (just where the walls and door make contact) before I put the building on it. Other thoughts: The building is about 100lbs+/-. It's really light weight. My wood floor is about 300lbs so at least the wind won't move anything. I don't know yet the pros and cons of a light weight building.
Received item box in good condition,was looking for other box as I couldnt believe it was all here in one flat pack. Read the destructions and prepared a solid level base From 6x6 x8' lumber sunk into the ground making sure there was enough overhang to centrally mount the building base frame on, The numbered pieces made construction quite easy,everything lined up , There was more than enough screws and washers than needed, you need a little patience (and a good quality screwdriver )with the fasteners, but all in all a good product for the money .
One thing i would recomend, if you buy the concrete anchor kit invest in a hammer drill and drill bits. The factory supplied bit went dull on the first hole.
GOOD PRICE, SPEEDY DELIVERY....BUT, ORDERED THIS FOR MY GRANDDAUGHTER FOR HER FIRST HOME. THE PHOTO SHOWS A FLOOR WHEN ORDERING, BUT NOT INCLUDED. NOW, WE HAVE TO POSTPONE SETUP 'TIL I FIND THAT AND BOLTS TO ANCHOR TO RESTART AGAIN. I ORDER A LOT ONLINE AND AM ACCUSTOMED TO RECEIVING EXACTLY WHAT IS PICTURED.
what's up it keeps water off my stuff the directions were easy to follow the setup was not too bad but the design is flawed the doors don't just slide open and shut they bump into screws that you have to install to make the structure stand very disappointed in this $300 I could have built a way better one for $150 in lumber but the trailer park I live in says you need one of these so here it is I would not recommend to a friend I'd rather spend $150 number and 150 a new tools I read the reviews before I bought it thinking that it was just a bunch of morons who don't know how to put it together but I should have took a little more caution when making this purchase because most of them were right that's the only reason I'm taking my time to write this long review
I open one end pulled out the instruction manual and had a ting of chest pain when I skimmed the tool needed for project then came the accessories needed that I of course did not have a clue about I thought it was closure to being a prefab type of storage building the drill the hammer the wood on an on needs that I do not have I have just moved into a small duplex with no storage my age is 74 female I would have like a ordering warning not good for old women to work with. How do I send it back?
The box with the contents came with both bottom edges open as if it were dragged across a road. Both sides of many panels bent. That being said, the entire effort to build this shed was exasperating to say the least. Advertised as easy to assemble was misleading. One front panel buckled under a very slight breeze before I could get supporting bar in place. Tried to save money, you get what you pay for. My own fault.
NOT TRUE SIZE! Says 8x6 but, more like 6x5! None of the holes line up. The professional I hired to come put together, said this was meant for trash! Not able to return due to not having box, I took everything out of the box and burned the box. I expected this to go together like it showed in instructions! This was seriously me flushing hard earned money down the drain!
Box it came in looked like it had been through a war. Very thin material. Several pieces of the Roof panels and wall panels were crinkled or scratched. I had owned a metal shed previously and was Disappointed at the flimsiness of this unit. Should have built my own!
let me start by the shipping was delayed, second they sent some of the wrong sized pieces, the gable sent doesn't fit this model so I have had to drill out new holes, the back panels are too big for this model so I'm going to have to cut and drill new holes. the parts that are correct have been quick and easy to assemble.
