As far as plastic utility sheds go, this one is excellent. The product snaps firmly together without any tools. Went together easily in 30 to 45 minutes in the garage then carried to final location. The plastic sections are molded double wall in spots to provide a reasonable amount of strength to the overall structure. When secured to a concrete slab with 5/16" lags and anchors the shed seems quite solid especially for a plastic unit. Pricing is made attractive by saving on shipping cost by selecting "Ship To Store". This is a definite advantage over other sellers of this product.
I love this little shed.! Fits my garbage can and 2 recycle bins easily. Makes everything neat and tidy and was just what I was looking for. It arrived a couple days later than expected but that wasn't too bad. It went together super easy. My daughter and I put it together in 15 minutes. The box it came in was the hardest part to breakdown and throw away! lol!! Love it!
Very easy to put together without tools. Does help to follow the order of assembly directions. Helped to read other reviews to visualize size. Easily would hold two large trash cans. Bought to store backpacks for our church's backpack program. We pack food to tide needy students over the weekend in backpacks so they blend in with other students. School representitves then return the backpacks to the church for refilling. This shed will be outside the church to simplify returns when the church is not open.
This is the second one I have ordered. The first I got about 8 years ago and it has handled the Arizona sun summer after summer. I use them for storage of pool toys and chair and chaise lounge cushions. Very heavy duty and stands up to the hot weather. It was very easy to assemble.
The product is as I expected, however some of the sections were warped and very hard to snap together...The left side was so badly warped, I had to improvise with thin sheet metal to use as a guide to get the pieces to mesh...Product would have better with some internal spacers to maintain the shape. At one point, I came just short or breaking the plastic trying to get the side to snap to the bottom...I do feel the product is somewhat overpriced for the quality.
This product is great. It is easy to assemble and durable. It is not inexpensive, but it is good quality. HOWEVER- the dimensions noted on the Walmart site are incorrect. Walmart incorrectly lists the EXTERIOR dimensions as the INTERIOR dimensions. This could be disastrous if you are storing something that is close to the length, width or height listed as the interior dimensions on the site. I got lucky and the product still works for me, but there is not an inch to spare. If you need the exact interior dimensions, go to the manufacturer's website- do not buy it based on the interior dimensions listed on the Walmart site.
I needed this shed to house my deep freeze. After much research this unit was the only one that was small enough to fit under my patio window but large enough for my freezer. I ordered it online and it was delivered 6 days later (big, 95 lb box!). It was relatively easy to assemble myself following the directions and no tools! I made one modification - cut out most of the base so the freezer would fit (interior was short 1.5" in height for the freezer). I added insulation to the inside panels/doors to keep the daytime heat out. It's not even a week yet so we'll see how well the freezer and shed dissipates heat in the summer. I'm now looking for a way to open the freezer lid automatically when I lift the shed lid. The only complaint is the lid support prop rod has a stop hook used for supporting the lid open slightly, which happens every time you open the lid. It would be nice if they could make this piece an optional add on like the padlock hasp. It's a nuisance so I might just cut it off to remove the function. Overall it's a good product and keeps the contents dry. Walmart certainly had the best price and no shipping charges.
Bought to store a 10.000 watt generater. Fits perfectly with room for gas cans. Easy to assemble but hard to move by one person after assembled.
I think the product itself is very night. Walmart distribution made the mistake of stacking something heavy on the one I got so some of the parts were slightly warped/bent. I didn't think it was all that big of a deal, but I could see how some people would be upset about it. This product is at least $50 less at Walmart than anywhere else you will look.
The cheap quality is apparent as soon as you open the box. The pieces are poorly manufactured with protruding, uneven cuts that only get hidden once you put the whole thing together. It will eventually serve its purpose, which is why people buy, but something like this should only cost half what it does. Walmart's price was in line with every other company. It seems to be the trend in America that consumers are increasingly forced to overpay for products that are produced by large monopolies…Suncast is practically the only game in town.
