I love this phone. It's very fast and has a vivid display. Battery life is very good and charges quickly. Sound is good too. I suggest getting a replacement plan. My screen cracked but im getting it locally repaired.. Because it still runs flawlessly. That's how much I love this phone.
Great phone
great phone. So easy for my 12 year old to work. Has games, Facebook, etc
I am very happy I brought this phone because I didn't regret my money plus it's cheap for the price. I would recommend this phone to anyone I don't usually buy phone online but this phone is great for me.
It's a good, cheap smartphone. I only wish it had a front facing camera. It's 2015 and you can't put a front facing camera on a phone? There are cheap android phones that have front facing cameras! That's my biggest complaint. They are still developing apps for windows so I didn't take points off for that. There are a ton of popular apps out there so you can use Facebook and Twitter.
The phone works fine, it's just a huge pain when you try to text. The letters are too small which causes you to hit the wrong letters most of the time. Doesn't auto correct very well. When I try to go back and touch a word to fix it, sometimes it will leave the text box like I'm finished. When I try to send a text, I often end up hitting the button for music instead. It's alright for a phone but it's a huge pain if you text a lot like I do. It shouldn't have been $50 because it's not worth that much because it's such a hassle.
I grabbed this phone after the employees in my local WalMart on Columbus Boulevard couldn't figure out how to unlock the Android device I wanted from the rack for 30 minutes. The device was easy enough to set up. However, the "Windows Phone 8.1" OS has a long, long way to go. The only available option for a web browser is Internet Explorer (Maxathon has not been updated for the newest OS update and crashes). There's no way to block ads. Pages often just fail to load. The Windows App Store has hardly anything useful, is laden with malware/scam apps, and most actually useful stuff is a pay app. The voice nav app Waze (recommended by the Maps app on WP8.1, which doesn't have voice nav for some bizarre reason) is very buggy, frequently mistaking "left" for "right" and vice versa. It's literally that bad. The only good points I can see are that the UI is pretty snappy, but it gets bogged down pretty quickly even with the quad core processor because it only has 512 MB of RAM. Why put a quad core with 512? Why? Other good points: construction is pretty solid (apparently), but the phone has no grip and could be easy to drop. Cortana seems OK, but doesn't seem much different than Siri. I'm only using this phone for a month because it was $40 activated with service. After that I'm going back to Straight Talk with a used Galaxy Note 2.
Checked this phone out before I bought it. The area that I am in, I should have 3g coverage, I get very low bar 2g at best. This phone will lose signal for no reason at all, while standing in the same place. Traveling, might as well forget about taking this phone with you even if you ARE going to be in thier service area, unless if you like having to reset the phone EVERY time that you want to make a call. This phone was bought as an upgrade from an Andriod, I will be going back to an Android and will forget about an windows phone from here on out.
i GOT THIS PHONE IN FEB 2015 AND THIS APRIL 2015 AND THE PHONE JUST FROZE UP, I FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTION IN THE MANUAL TO TRY TO GET IT TO WORK, AND GUESS WHAT NOTHING AND I MEAN NOTHING WORK, I END UP JUST TAKING THE PHONE TO THE ECOATM MECHINE AND ONLY GOT $1.00 FOR NOW AINT THAT NOTHING. I WILL NEVER EVER BUY ANOTHER WINDOW 8 PHONE. I AM TELLING YOU THESE PHONE IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY...TRUST ME
I needed a new phone and number for a new real estate business. Windows 7 doesn't work with our local MLS lock boxes so I'm stuck with an extra device to open houses. I dropped it lightly on a wood floor and it cracked. I guess I'm happy I have to get a new phone. Also, the screen is confusing.
